Pikemen & Musketeers brought a 17th-century flavour to the firing of the noonday gun yesterday when they marched into Castle Cornet.
The Company of Pikemen and Musketeers was making its first visit to Guernsey to perform at the West Show, but added even more pageantry to the noonday firing in front of an expectant crowd.
Among the musketeers was Richard Hills, who has lived and worked in Guernsey for four years. The 58-year-old, who is head of risk at MitonOptimal, said everyone was looking forward to their stay and performances at the West Show.
