The HAC is a quite exceptional wedding and private party venue, offering the ambiance and exclusivity of a magnificent country house yet in a superb, central London location.

 

Built in 1735, Armoury House @ the HAC is steeped in a long and fascinating history. The largest of its elegant rooms, the Long Room, offers the perfect setting for both wedding ceremonies and receptions for up to 150 guests. This richly decorated, oak-panelled room features a minstrel’s gallery, stone fireplaces and huge picture windows from which guests can enjoy lovely views of the HAC’s gardens and out to the City beyond. Smaller rooms such as the attractive Queen’s Room and Ante Room are also licensed for wedding ceremonies or are ideal in their own right for smaller, more intimate wedding receptions.

 

The Prince Consort Rooms can also be hired for weddings either on their own or in conjunction with Armoury House. Seating up to 350 people, the Prince Consort Rooms are ideal for larger wedding receptions and are particularly suitable for those weddings which need more of a contemporary blank canvas than the Long Room.

 

On Sundays the HAC can be hired for kosher or asian wedding receptions and we have a list of accredited caterers who would be able to assist.

 

Of course, as well as being an ideal wedding venue, the HAC is equally suited to all types of private party, such as a graduation lunch, or a party for a special birthday, engagement or anniversary. We give the same high level of attention and service to every event.

 

Armoury House is undoubtedly impressive in its own right, but what makes the HAC so special is its stunning six acre Artillery Garden. Whether you decide to use the Garden for a champagne reception outside on the lawn or simply want to enjoy the fabulous views it affords from inside the House, it is a unique feature that sets the HAC apart from other London venues and which will help make your wedding or party especially memorable.
