Squash Club
The HAC Squash Club is based at the Honourable Artillery Company in the City. The Club
has two regular teams: a team that plays in the prestigious Bath Cup played between
London clubs; and a 'friendly' side. The friendly side plays social squash matches
at a reasonable club level against a mixture of London clubs and London touring
teams. The Club has also organised mini tours recently to Malta and Poland.
The HAC sides play their home matches at the Virgin Active sports club centre
near Moorgate in the grounds of the HAC, where the Club has use of the courts
on match evenings. Away fixtures are played at clubs across London, which include
the Queens Club, Hurlingham and RAF Club amongst others. Between October and March
the friendly side plays at least one match a week. Matches are usually followed
by drinks and a meal in the HAC's wonderful dining room.
The Club welcomes new members. Club membership is £25 a year and match fees
to cover the cost of courts, food and drink are currently £15 per player. If
