WEDDINGS at THE HAC

Exchanging your vows in front of your friends and family is most couples’ focal point when planning their wedding or civil partnership. We understand how important it is that the space in which this momentous event happens is very special indeed.

We have four beautiful rooms licenced for weddings and civil partnerships. Each has its own charms and all are infused with the character of our historic venue. All are located on the ground floor, except for the Long Room on the first floor, and all are wheelchair accessible. Visit The Venue page for further details.

As soon as you have your date secured at the HAC, you’ll need to contact the Superintendent Registrar for Islington Council to check the availability of a registrar for your ceremony. By law, all weddings and civil partnership ceremonies must be held between 8am and 6pm with the last booking at 5pm. You can book up to one year in advance and can give formal notice of your marriage up to one year before the day itself; Islington Council will charge a fee for this.
