Overview

Awards ceremonies are notoriously complex affairs, comprising multiple mini-events that need to come together in one, seamless night. At the HAC we not only have the space and facilities to perfectly accommodate such requirements, we also have an events team and AV technicians who know how to schedule and execute a flawless production.

The Spaces

The Prince Consort Rooms is our largest and most versatile space. Formerly a drill hall, the room is 50 metres in length with an integral bar area, separate organisers’ office/green room and all the AV equipment a large-scale awards ceremony needs. It also has its own entrance through a charming courtyard and includes hire of our astro-turfed sun terrace.

If your awards event also needs a large, outdoor area for a summer drinks reception or team-building games, the five-acre Artillery Garden is the perfect fit. Situated just outside the Prince Consort Rooms in the HAC estate, the beautiful lawns can offer organisers a fabulous extra element to proceedings.

Catering

However you want to serve the food and drink at your awards ceremony – sit-down meal, buffet, canapés or barbecue – our in-house caterer, Searcys, will have a menu you’ll love. Our chefs source their ingredients as locally and seasonally as possible to maximise on flavour. They are also more than happy to sit down with clients to come up with bespoke menus if you have something specific in mind.

Location

Perfectly positioned for City businesses, the HAC is just a few minutes’ walk from Moorgate and Old Street tube stations. Its public transport links also make travel easy for guests coming from anywhere in London or further afield. Our historic building’s location also results in a spectacular backdrop of the City skyline when looking across the garden from the venue.
