A Message to All Users

In the interests of all our members, guests and staff, we have made the difficult but necessary decision to close the HAC from Friday 20 March 2020 until further notice.

We continue to follow the official guidelines from Public Health England & UK Government surrounding Covid-19 and will implement any further instructions or protections as required. In the meantime, the Company Office will continue to work remotely and are of course there to answer any queries you have on the following emails:

General enquiries: hac@hac.org.uk
Membership enquiries: mtambi@hac.org.uk
Venue hire: sales@hac.org.uk

For all media enquiries please email the Chief Executive, Sean Crane: scrane@hac.org.uk

We are grateful for your understanding and hope you and your family are staying safe and well in these challenging times.

A unique and historic London venue

Our London home, comprising Armoury House and the Artillery Garden, is a unique and vibrant place and offers an unparalleled venue for corporate, private and sporting events as well as a place for members to meet, eat and relax.

Established by Royal Charter in 1537 for the “better defence of the realm”, we are still active in this role, with a surveillance and target-acquisition British Army regiment that bears our name. We are also a charity and members’ organisation.

Many of our 2,500 members are either serving soldiers or volunteers in our Detachment of Special Constabulary (City of London Police). Others, who have completed their Active service, belong to our veteran Company.
